Endodontics

Endodontics is a field in dentistry that deals with root canal procedures in cases where the canal has been pathologically altered. A bacterial infection caused by a cavity, or other factors, can necessitate treatment. The tooth can show symptoms of the disease, but it can also be asymptomatic, meaning that a patient could lose a tooth and have the surrounding tissue destroyed. It has been shown in practice that the disorder can be related to heart, kidney, joint, and hair problems. In that situation, we believe that each tooth should be treated with care, including a filling or a crown if the damage to the tooth is serious.
